Boho vibes from Down Under
Let's face it! Sunshine and summertime bring out your inner bohemian self. Who wouldn’t want to frolic in boho-chic romantic style all summer long? In my previous blog, I shared the best boho shops online from the US. This time it's time to meet the best brands from Down Under. Because let's face it… it seems that all the great brands are coming from Australia!
So without further ado my selection of the 13 best boho brands from Australia (in random order):
Time to meet the 13 best boho brands from Australia
Embella Designs
If you love jewelry and turquoise rings you're gonna love this brand! Although Embella is mostly known for her amazing jewelry, this brand from Darwin also holds a fab fashion collection. Shop the entire collection here.
Nine Lives Bazaar
If you love the seventies, this is the brand for you! With the most amazing designs, deep oranges, and vintage browns this brand really is not afraid to stand out. Produced sustainably and ethically so you can shop with a conscience.
Ghanda Clothing
Ghanda is a fabulous surf & streetwear brand born out of the coastal town of Torquay, Victoria. They are a small brand with a select number of stores around Australia, focusing on offering affordable basics and fashion pieces with that perfect mix between retro and boho chic. Ghanda is most famous for its retro-style tees, beachwear, and crochet pieces. Most of the styles you see in their stores and online are hand-printed by our own team of in-house printers. Ghanda aimes not to overproduce! They strive to be a sustainable brand where wastage is limited.
Yesterday People
The brand Yesterday People was born from a love of the ‘60s and '70s and all the crazy, outta sight, far-out fabrics, music, design, and decor that went along with it! They started out as a small eco-label in 2017 making groovy things entirely from vintage and recycled fabrics. As authentic vintage fabric became harder and harder to find I decided to go back to school and create my own groovy vintage-inspired prints! If you love groovy prints, you're gonna love this brand! Follow them on Instagram here.
Mahiya
This bohemian lifestyle brand is best known for its amazing handmade bags and clutches. With their trademark turquoise embroidery, Mahiya finds themselves often copied which only increased their popularity. Recently they expanded their line with bohemian clothing, kaftans, harem pants, and much more.
Tree of Life
Inspired by their endless travels through India and the urge to hold on to their hippie roots, which led to the birth of Three of Life. With its first shop opening in the early 90-s, the brand is still one of the most iconic bohemian brands in Australia. Are you obsessed with finding an Afghan coat? This brand has the most beautiful faux suede coat in its collection!
Kivari
This is another great label from Downunder that's still going strong. With their bohemian-style clothing and accessories specially made for the wanderlust woman, every new collection is a must-have! They ship worldwide.
Chasing Unicorns
This small Australian brand has a love for vintage, pure bohemian, and ethically produced clothes. They are against fast fashion and high quality is what Chasing Unicorns stands for. Keep your eyes out for this one! Check for more on their collection here.
Arnhem Clothing
The bohemian spirit flows in every piece of Arnhem Clothing. Being born into a gypsy lifestyle of color and beauty inspired the owner and creator Arnhem Bickley to make the most beautiful collections every year. With their latest collection, you just want to pick up your bags and move to Australia!
Spell Designs
Inspired by far-off places, vintage treasures, and childhood memories, the two beautiful sisters of Spell Designs have created one of the best-known boho brands worldwide. Each collection is a true must-have and they sell out within a day Spell Designs has built up a loyal group of followers over the years. Spell is definitely one of the more expensive boho brands out there, but also one of the more sustainable brands. Sign up for their newsletter so you don't miss any sales!
The latest discoveries from Australia
Love St The Label
Why did I not find this label before!! If you love old-school bohemian with color and pretty prints you will love Lovest! They have a great collection of vintage-style tees and their boho dresses are to die for. It's the perfect marriage between the 60's meet the 70's. You can find their entire collection here.
Tanah Folk
Another Australian brand I discovered only recently! From the beach to the bar. A lifestyle and festival brand inspired by the wanderlust of Byron Bay. Tanah Folk has only a few collections every year and every item is a must have! Make sure to get your hands on one of their dresses!
Bella Boheme
One of my followers mentioned this brand to me and I've been in love ever since. The perfect brand if you like to style your daily look with a boho twist. They have some beautiful knits for the colder days and some amazing dresses. And yes, they ship worldwide too!
And last but not least
Salty Crush
This Australian online brand carries a lot of the best boho styles out there. Next to their own brand they also have a large collection of Jaase in the house. Don't miss this one girl! Shop their entire collection here.
Little note of warning: These brands are extremely popular and sadly their styles are often copied. Please only buy from legit stores and don't fall for the copycat industry.

Another great store for clothing is Bohemian Inpsire, they measure all their clothing by hand so you know that the sizing charts they have are accurate unlike a lot of other stores. They carry lines like Jaase and Ishani and are very competitively priced also.
